Schools and gyms were never designed for the security threats they face today. The tools available to them — surveillance cameras, visitor logs, front-desk check-ins — were built to document what happened, not to stop what's about to.

We built Pryvent because the gap between a threat arriving and staff knowing about it is the actual problem. Not a staffing problem. Not a willpower problem. An information problem.

The answer isn't a cloud service that ships your video to a data center and returns a result a second later. It's software that processes everything on hardware you already own, at the edge, so detection happens in the same moment something occurs — not after it.

Privacy is a constraint we take seriously, not a feature we market. When footage never leaves your building, there's no breach to disclose, no third-party to audit, no exposure you didn't agree to. What happens on-site stays on-site, with the exception of incident records that move through an encrypted cloud layer for accountability and coordination.

We're starting with the institutions that can least afford to be wrong — K–12 schools and fitness facilities — because the stakes are real and the existing options are inadequate. From there, the same architecture applies anywhere people need fast, private, on-premise intelligence about who's in their space and why.
